The Kingdom of God

Vyacheslav Goncharenko I am starting a series about the Kingdom of God. Today we are going to look at the perspective we as believers have in the Kingdom of God.

Daniel 2:44-45:

In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever. This is the meaning of the vision of the rock cut out of a mountain, but not by human hands–a rock that broke the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver and the gold to pieces. “The great God has shown the king what will take place in the future. The dream is true and its interpretation is trustworthy.

I consider the book of Daniel to be an amazing book. Theologians study it and reveal its mysteries. It’s a prophetic book which tells about the future. There we read that God gave special revelations to a pagan king Nebuchadnezzar who was a great and influential figure of his time, having conquered the whole world including Judea. He took captive many Jewish people. The story begins how a Babylon king Nebuchadnezzar saw a dream which he forgot. He called for his “clever fellows:” mystics, fortunetellers, magicians, sorcerers and advisors. He gathered them all and commanded, “Tell me what my dream means.” Them asked, “Tell us your dream first and we will tell its meaning.”Nebuchadnezzar said, “I can’t tell you the dream, it slipped out of my mind. But if you consider yourselves so wise tell me my dream.”

It was a task beyond human ability. A person can’t make up a dream. Sometimes you dream something and realize that making it up is beyond your power. We are unable to order our own dreams, let alone to see a neighbor’s dream. Only God has ability to reveal such hidden things. Nebuchadnezzar told his wise men, “I declare that you all are incompetent because you are unable to tell me my dream! How can you remain my advisors and tell me anything good after that? And on the top of that I am going to put you to death by hanging.” The king was furious and all the people were terrified. They couldn’t do anything.

Some Jewish young men including Daniel had been taken captive and lived in Babylon. Daniel turned to a royal officer, “May I have an audience with the king? I have something to tell him.” The king permitted him to come and Daniel said, “Please, execute no one! Allow us some time. We are Jews and we worship the true and great God. I am going to pray and the Lord will reveal me your dream and its meaning. Please give me some time!” And the king gave his consent.

Daniel returned to his friends – Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and those four young men began to pray, “God, reveal us what dream You have showed the king.” It happens quite often you see a dream but it slips out of your mind. The king was greatly disturbed by his dream. He couldn’t sleep. That dream made him worried and even tormented him. For this reason Nebuchadnezzar was eager to recall the dream and understand what it meant.

Sometime passed and the Lord showed Daniel the same dream and gave its interpretation. Daniel went to see the king again and interpreted his dream, “You beheld a great statue whose head was made of pure gold, chest and arms of silver, belly and thighs of bronze, legs of iron,  feet partly of iron and partly of baked clay. Am I right?” The king replied, “Exactly!” Daniel continued, “While you were watching, a stone was cut out and struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay and crushed them. Then the stone broke the statue to pieces and it became like ashes and the wind blew it away. Correct?” The king replied, “Exactly! How do you know this?”Daniel said, “This is what happened, your majesty. Before falling asleep you laid on the bed thinking, ‘What will happen after me? I am so great, so great!’ And God of Heaven chose to show you the future. So after you are gone, other kings will arise, other rulers of the world, other kingdoms. The statue’s golden head symbolizes your kingdom, golden and richest. Afterwards a silver kingdom is going to come, then a bronze kingdom, iron and clay. But the stone will be torn off and in the time of those kings the God of Heaven will set up His own Kingdom.

Daniel 2:44:

In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever

You see, God gave a pagan king a revelation of what is going to happen when the kingdoms of the world pass away. The Lord showed that He is going to set up His Kingdom which will endure forever.

There are other passages in the Scripture which reveal prophesy about the Kingdom of God. For instance, the book of the prophet Isaiah tells about Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 9:6-7:

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.

This is prophesy about Jesus Christ: “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given”. Who is this Son? He is the Prince of this world. He is the true King of this world. “Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom”. Jesus Christ is that stone which both the pagan king and Daniel saw in their dreams. The stone breaks the kingdoms of this world and His government increases and will have no end. When the stone hit the statue it itself turned into a mountain which began to increase and filled the entire earth. The Bible says so.

How many of you know that the Word of God is true? No point will remain unfulfilled. Today I am telling you of the prospects of the Kingdom of God and what future is waiting for us. Finally, the Kingdom of God has arrived and we can read about it.

Mark 1:14-15:

After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God.”The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”

The words “the time has come” relate to the fact that the time has arrived when the messages of the prophets of old, including Daniel, are coming to pass. When Christ came He began to declare the Kingdom. He said, “The Kingdom has come near.” People asked, “What are we to do if the kingdom is near?”"Repent! It’s the only way for you to enter the Kingdom and dwell therein.”

Consider Jesus’ conversation with Nicodemus, a Jewish leader and prominent religious figure of his time.

John 3:2:

He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.”

Nicodemus saw something in Jesus. He looked at Him and thought, “His authority is not of humans but it’s indeed from heaven. An ordinary person can’t do such signs and wonders. He won’t say such things unless God is with Him.” Nicodemus sensed the Kingdom of God; he felt another type of kingdom. It was a mystery to Nicodemus, which is why he came to see Jesus at night. Many were afraid to fellowship with Jesus for the fear of being excommunicated from the synagogue. But Nicodemus was a leader in Judea. He came and declared, “I know You are a teacher like no one else.”

John 3:3:

Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”

That means if you are not born from above you have nothing in common with this kingdom. The only way you can enter this kingdom is to get born from above. When you are born in the physical world you have a place of birth. Your birth takes place in a maternity hospital in a city in a country, say Belarus, or any other. You are born somewhere. When a man is born from above he is born as a new creation. This is how God sees a born again person. He leaves a sinful life and is born into a new life, a life of holiness and purity.

That’s not by accident the Bible says: “Repent!”What does repentance do? It gives us a chance to born somewhere. In this case it’s the Kingdom of God. All of us here at some point in the past got born into God’s Kingdom. We all at some point came to Jesus and perceived a different kind of life. There is something more to the life we live in this world. You might have learned a number of things and can share many interesting stories but your heart feels that’s not all there is, there is more to it. You can’t explain it but in your heart there was a calling. You have tried many things but nothing seemed to satisfy. Jesus entered your life with the Word of God. Jesus is a representative of this Kingdom. He is the King of this Kingdom because God the Father appointed Him. And when Jesus came His Kingdom came with Him. People began to perceive something. Intuitively they felt there is something greater. Suddenly Jesus says, “Repent! I will let you enter the Kingdom through being born there.”

Today God uses preachers of the Gospel the same way. Hearing a preacher people can comprehend that this person has something they don’t have and he can give it to them. And that’s truly so. Each of us carries the Kingdom of God because we are His representatives. We have something to give others. When the Word of God touches people’s hearts they can sense the calling; their hearts tremble and they realize that there is something new which they never knew before despite their rich life experience. Then a preacher calls, “Repent!”and when people repent they get born into the Kingdom of God. It’s amazing. Nicodemus told Jesus, “I can’t understand.”

John 3:5:

Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.

Several verses before we read “no one can see”. This verse says “can enter”. You have to be born again. You will never get into the Kingdom of God by learning from somebody or copying him. You have to be born from God’s Spirit. The moment you repent and the Holy Spirit touches you, you get born again. The Spirit breathes where He pleases.

John 3:7:

You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’

Preaching about the Kingdom Jesus challenged people. He said, “I invite you to repent and you will get born in the Kingdom of God. You will enter the Kingdom. It exists. It’s here. You will live in this new Kingdom.” Not only did Jesus preach about the Kingdom; He also demonstrated its authority.

Matthew 4:23:

Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.

The Kingdom of God isn’t just words or preaching; it’s power. The Scripture says in First Corinthians 4:20, “the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.” The power of the Kingdom is the Holy Spirit. That’s why when the Holy Spirit came upon Jesus He began to demonstrate the power. He taught in the synagogues and preached the good news of the Kingdom. When the Gospel is preached the manifestation of the power of the Kingdom begins. Have you ever seen a kingdom with no authority? Any kingdom has authority. Small or big but it always has authority. Do you know what authority is? It’s directly connected with power.

Here is an example for illustration. A drunken man falls into an apartment by mistake. The owner comes out and goes, “Hey, man, go home! It’s not your house.” The man replies, “What can you do to me? You have no authority over me. I am not going to listen to what you say. You are nobody to me.”But after the owner grabs him by the collar, hoists him up and sets him outside the door, the drunk will definitely realize something about the owner’s authority. That’s because reacting on the words “what can you do to me?”the owner can apply his power which makes it clear that the owner is not joking. But suppose you don’t have authority? “What can you do to me?”- “I will call the police.”You see, authority should be applied anyway.

Our family faced a similar situation when our house was surrounded by new construction sites. They built multi-story apartments all around our house. Over the last two years we literally lived in mud. It was unbearable. The wind blew all types of things from the construction site: building materials, packs of cigarettes, cigarette butts, trash, dust and mud. Our fence was pressed from every side. Once, they piled a heap of sand which made our fence bend down a little. So I went to sort out the problem, “Hey, take it out of here.”They replied, “That’s ok. That’s ok.”But then somebody said, “Why are you worried? Your house is going to be demolished anyway.”Such insolence made my wife and me indignant. It’s our yard but they are doing here what they want. But I didn’t like the idea of confrontation and appealing to the court. After that their tractor bulldozing the ground broke our fence. My wife said, “They broke the fence right before my eyes.” I put on my clothes, came up to the tractor operator and said, “Hey, you have broken my fence!”He started laughing, “Who are you? What are you doing here in front of my tractor?”"You have broken my fence! You must repair it. Do you understand?”"It wasn’t me,” he replied. But my wife really saw him breaking it down. He pressed against the fence and it couldn’t bear the load and broke down. If you have no power you have no authority either.

My wife took the phone and called the police. When the car from the traffic police arrived, a Captain and a Major got out. “Good afternoon! Let’s see.”We went to see the broken fence. I said, “You know, they have become so insolent…” And I told them what had happened. One of the officers called for the tractor operator, “Come up here.” He came up together with other workers. The officer asked, “Where is your boss?”"He is having lunch.”"Who is his deputy?” the officer continued. “I am,” a person replied. “What’s your name?”"Vyacheslav Petrovich.”I can remember his name even today. The officer addressed me, “And yours?”"Vyacheslav Leonidovich,” I said. “You guys share the same name. Here is what I want to tell you.”They took heed of his every word. He went on, “I can see the signs of a road accident. This vehicle invaded a private territory and broke the fence. I will draw up a statement of the case and you are going to be held responsible.”

I am watching the operator get pale, his smile disappearing somewhere. Just before, he was saying, “What can you do to me? You have no authority.” But when somebody said, “I can do this and that to you,” it changed the whole perspective.

This is what authority is all about. Thus, power demonstrates authority. The officer went on, “We have many things to do. We have to go places. So I give you two minutes to come to terms. Otherwise I will do what I have told you. The time starts now.” The Major stepped back. The builders told me, “Well, let’s agree that in an hour we will fix everything. Trust us!”I asked, “Are you sure? I won’t have to call for the Major again, will I?” “No, no, we will make it the way it was before,” I heard in reply. I said, “Ok, I will trust you. Get started.” The Major returned, “So what?” They said, “We have come to terms, we will fix the fence.” The officer saluted, “Have a good day!” Together with the Major and the Captain we left and I invited them, “Would you like a cup of coffee? Please, stop by our house.” They replied, “With great pleasure but we are overly busy, have to go.” I said, “You see how your authority instantly worked out.” The Major replied, “Yes, this is the way it is in our country: as soon as a person wearing epaulettes shows up it changes the whole picture. Power and authority decide everything. We have seen a lot of insolence many times. But as soon as they see people with epaulettes their brains start working.”

Well, let’s go back to our topic. The Kingdom of Jesus. Christ came and demonstrated the authority of His Kingdom. He healed the sick. Amazingly enough but even in times of the Old Testament people saw health restoration and it wasn’t something extraordinary because in those days people of the covenant enjoyed grace and could be restored to health. For instance, near the Sheep Gate, there was a pool, Bethesda where sick people could come. The angel of the Lord would stir up the water and the first to get into the water was healed. Healing might not have happened too often but it happened for people to know that they as God’s children can enjoy such benefits.

But when Jesus Christ ministered it impressed people when they saw unclean spirits come out screaming. Many were amazed, “He has such authority that He can command demons and they obey!” But those who envied Jesus had such power and authority said, “He drives out demons by the power of the prince of the devils.” Jesus answered them, “Where is your logic? If Satan works against himself how will his kingdom stand? It’s illogical. But if I by the finger of God cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has reached you “What is the finger of God? Another passage says: “If I drive demons out by the Spirit of God the Kingdom of God has certainly reached you.”He revealed that the Holy Spirit is the power of the Kingdom and the finger of God.

How didn’t it happen? Demons are spiritual creatures. Being a part of darkness they could comprehend the light of the Kingdom of God. The Holy Spirit is represented by many different symbols including fire. Here is what I think happened. For instance, Jesus says to a demon, “Come out!” Why couldn’t the demon say, “What are you going to do to me?”It’s because the power that Jesus applied, the Holy Spirit, was like fire. “What am I going to do? I am going to burn you up.” That’s why demons came out screaming.

During the years of my ministry I have practiced driving out demons. I also was stunned. Why? Because they screamed indeed. Demons can speak. They spoke through people in whom they couldn’t stay any longer. It was either because of the light or the fire which burned them.

The most powerful recourse of the Kingdom of God is the Holy Spirit. He is the power of the Kingdom which Jesus Christ displayed while here on the earth. That’s why no power of darkness could withstand Him. Jesus showed that this Kingdom is higher than any other kingdom on earth and its power is unlimited. Just imagine what it takes to restore decaying limbs of a person. It’s a gift of miracle working. When people saw such miracles performed, how lepers became clean, they realized that it’s beyond human ability of an ordinary person and no earthly kingdom had power to do it. They realized that it must be a different kingdom, a different authority, a different power.

Here is what I find interesting. I would like to draw your attention so you can see what perspective a believer who understands the Kingdom of God has and rejoice in your hearts. We are born into the Kingdom where there is God’s power, abilities and authority with no limits. The same Spirit Who raised Jesus Christ from the dead lives in us. Can you imagine that today every believer has the Spirit Who raised Jesus Christ from the dead, the power that raised Him up, God’s recourse on the inside of him. That’s because we are born into the Kingdom and all there is in the Kingdom belongs to us. It’s our inheritance.

You might say, “It doesn’t work in my life, never worked. I can’t make it work.” The main problem of a believer today is that despite the fact that he belongs to the Kingdom and is a son or a daughter of God and has royal inheritance he still has an old mentality which is subject to change. When you begin to think as princes and princesses and taste the inheritance of your Father and the King Jesus Christ everything in your life will work the same way as it worked in Jesus’ ministry. This is because it belongs to us and is ours already.

God’s purpose for the Kingdom of God is that the stone would become a mountain and fill the entire world. The book of Revelation says, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever.”(Revelation 11:15)God’s purpose for a believer is to realize that he is the one whom God uses to enlarge His Kingdom. What did Jesus ask His disciples to pray about? “Your Kingdom come…”

Matthew 6:9-10:

“This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Putting it in other words, “Pray that the Kingdom of God move forward! May it come where no one knows about it! Pray this out!”

Matthew 6:33:

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

In other words, “Make the Kingdom of God your priority! Make it your dream! Think about it! Study the Kingdom of God! Work in the Kingdom! Live as the citizens of the Kingdom! Learn from the King Who is the Lord of the Kingdom! Make the Kingdom of God your priority!”

When Jesus Christ was raised from the dead He came to see His disciples. You know that He walked on the earth forty more days before ascended up to Heaven.

Acts 1:2-3:

Until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen. After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.

Imagine, Jesus after being resurrected appeared to His disciples day by day for forty days and taught about the Kingdom. He taught that they are newly created, that they are the sons of the Kingdom, chosen nation, royal priesthood, that they are anointed; they are God’s own possession. He told that they belong to the Kingdom and promised:

Acts 1:5:

For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.

“I will send you the power of the Kingdom. You will have authority and power, not mere words. You are going to demonstrate authority and power of the Kingdom as I did. There is going to be nothing impossible to you.”

You know the story how the Holy Spirit came on the disciples and they went forth, began to act, they kept in prayer. They held fast to the Kingdom, never let it go. They valued as precious what God did for them. For this reason, they kept in prayer so that they may live worthy of the Kingdom and may demonstrate its power. And now look at those great things they accomplished in their day and age, in their generation having finished their course. The disciples reached many countries and the earth heard the Gospel. As a legend has it, even the most doubtful disciple Thomas travelled to India and demonstrated the Kingdom of God there.

We belong to the Kingdom of God already and we have dual citizenship. Who are you? You open up your ID: “Look, here is my family name and my picture.” But beside your country citizenship you are a citizen of the Kingdom of God. Congratulations! Did you know that? Now you know. You are blessed; you live in the Kingdom. My friends, I want you to know that all power which was in Jesus Christ resides in you through the Holy Spirit. You are a holy person. You are a righteous. You are a princess. You are a prince. Jesus Christ is your great King. I want you to know the Kingdom you have entered is everlasting.

Psalm 145:9-13:

The Lord is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made. All your works praise you, Lord; your faithful people extol you. They tell of the glory of your kingdom and speak of your might, so that all people may know of your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of your kingdom. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does.

Here it says the God’s Kingdom is everlasting. In the book of Daniel, we read that the Kingdom endures forever and it is unshakable. No other kingdom can overtake it. On the top this, having entered the Kingdom you should understand that you underwent an irreversible process. What does it mean? We can enter the Kingdom of God only by means of birth, being born from above. As a person once born on earth can never return to his mother’s womb, a born-again person can never return to the old life. Even if he abandons God or leaves the church he will still remain a child of the King. And when he is to be judged he will be judged as a child of the King not as a sinner. God will never disown His child. You may fall or go astray but the Kingdom will keep on calling you back. Even if you do stagger or swerve, having tasted the Kingdom of God you will finally realize that nothing in this world can come close to it. There is no king or kingdom in this world that can offer you what the Kingdom of God offers. The change is irreversible.

One pastor shared with me that he had one man come and threaten him saying, “What have you done to my sister? We used to drink and have fun together. What have you done that she began attending your church? Reprogram her back!” The pastor replied, “You know, an irreversible change has taken place – she has been born in the Kingdom of God. There is no point of return.” I like this expression – irreversible change.

This Kingdom has no end, will never break or suffer failure. We enter the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, serve as long as we live but it will continue after we die. We live in the Kingdom while here on the earth but when we die we join it forever.

The Kingdom of God will keep on becoming larger. Every saved person, every healed and delivered person brings increase to God’s Kingdom and enlarges its territory. Statistics tells us that 10,000 people come to Christ each day. The Kingdom is getting bigger. And that’s when the church is lazy in preaching the Gospel. But I believe the time comes when the Kingdom, its power and the Spirit are going to multiply. The building on the cornerstone of Jesus Christ is growing and will show itself more and more. Cities and nations will turn to Jesus. Continents will appear under the authority of King Jesus. Satan’s kingdom and the kingdom of this world will fall down and pass away. They will reach a certain might and then fall down. Many kingdoms are destroyed already. The kingdom of iron, the “unbreakable” Roman Empire, is not there anymore. We can only watch movies that depict that time – “Fall of the Roman Empire.”The Greek kingdom, the era when the Greek language played an international role, is no longer present. You know that the New Testament was written in Greek. The Babylon Empire has fallen. Where is the Persian Empire? It’s here no more. The Kingdom of God is coming. And the Kingdom of Jesus Christ will possess the entire earth.

The Kingdom of God is constantly growing. People come to Christ and get saved. Many countries are experiencing revival. The Scripture tells about how angels rejoice over one sinner who repents. I think we should embrace the joy of the Kingdom. When somebody comes, confesses his sins and accepts Jesus Christ, Heaven’s joy over this person is greater than over 99 righteous who have no need of repentance. When we see a person coming forward and repenting before the Lord, “Lord, forgive my sins!” some may rejoice with him but some may think, “What’s special about that?” It’s wrong to think this way. You don’t understand the value. I believe our church should burst out rejoicing when we see somebody entering the Kingdom and embracing it. The entire congregation should express great joy. We should jump to our feet and cry, “Glory to God!” That’s because the Kingdom has gotten bigger by one person.

When somebody gets healed we shouldn’t watch silently, skeptically thinking, “I wonder whether he is telling the truth or just pretending?” I believe if a person shares his testimony it is already a sign that the Holy Spirit has touched him; it proves something has happened. You’d better rejoice with him, “O, I am so happy for you!” We should show ourselves excited. I don’t want our church to turn into a religious organization.

I heard one person’s story about how God moved. They arrived somewhere to do a ministry and there they met religious brothers. These brothers stood motionless, unsmiling, but just silently watched everything. And when God healed or saved somebody they looked as if they were angry:“What’s going on here?” Pharisees. When we can’t rejoice like kids do we become like Pharisees. Didn’t Jesus say, “unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” When a child gets a candy he is excited. What would you think if right now I start giving out candies? “Candies, so what? Nothing special…” But a child thinks differently. Whatever amount he gets he is excited.

So that person said that when somebody didn’t get healed those Pharisees showed contentment, “Ha, you fail.” That’s a false sense of religion. I think in our church we should rebuke this authoritarian religion because it will try to catch us in a web. The Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit but if you come caught by Satan so that you can neither clap nor sing nor raise up your hands I am telling you that the Holy Spirit wants to set you free. Glory to the Lord! I believe the Holy Spirit will deliver all religious people. And you will experience freedom in Christ Jesus understanding His Kingdom.

We should embrace the simple things. Not only the Kingdom of God grows wider but we also grow. We reach new level of the knowledge of Jesus Christ when we act on the authority of His name.

We are receiving the Kingdom constantly. One time is not enough. We should do it constantly.

Hebrews 12:28:

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken…

The verb used here is translated in the original as to do something without seizing. We are constantly receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken. In one translation I saw that it’s like a sucking reflex of a child who is constantly hungry for milk. This is the way believers should be: constantly hungry for the Kingdom of God, constantly looking for it. It’s written: “Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.” Who reaches this Kingdom? Those, who put out some effort. From the days of John the Baptist until now the Kingdom of Heaven has required effort. Coming home in the evening you make efforts to eat dinner; no one is going to feed you. But this is what many Christians think regarding spiritual things. Unless somebody feeds them, unless somebody calls them and tells, “Come over, you need spiritual food,” they won’t do anything. Don’t you realize that you are to live spiritually? You are to develop everything God has given you in the Kingdom. You are to grow up and take responsibility for those God has given you. You shouldn’t stay a baby who requires constant support from others. The time comes when you should help others. It comes only with you constantly receiving the Kingdom of God and growing.

In the book of Daniel we see that he had a personal revelation. The 7th chapter speaks of it. I really like it. This chapter tells of the time when the Kingdom of Jesus Christ will be established on the earth.

Daniel 7:2-3:

Daniel said: “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me were the four winds of heaven churning up the great sea. Four great beasts, each different from the others, came up out of the sea.

God showed Daniel a vision of the future, showed the kings that will rise on the earth. All these beasts symbolize certain kings. When Daniel saw the vision he was looking for interpretation but no one could explain. The interpretation was sealed until the last time. At that moment it was impossible to understand the meaning of the vision even if somebody would try to explain but at the last days everything will become crystal clear.

We read of those beasts. The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings that later were torn off. A second beast looked like a leopard who had four heads. There was a bear and a fourth beast which was diverse from others. It was interpreted that a coalition of ten kings shall arise with three kings dominant, and another shall arise after them who shall put down three kings.

It’s amazing that nowadays we can see the explanation of those symbols. Daniel saw the kingdom where we live today. A lion is Great Britain. Eagle’s wings is America, wings which were torn off and became independent. A leopard is Germany. Four heads are four Reichs three of which have already passed. Germany is expecting the four Reich. A bear is Russia. The coalition is European Union with three kings dominant. Aren’t three states dominant in the European Union? Another horn shall arise. It’s antichrist who shall subdue all kings and try to copy Jesus Christ. Satan always tries to imitate Jesus. This horn shall try to get dominion over the entire earth and wage war against the holy people. He shall even defeat them.

Today we witness marvelous things. Hidden things are getting in the open.

Daniel 7:18:

But the holy people of the Most High will receive the kingdom and will possess it forever—yes, for ever and ever.

I am stunned by the future of the holy people.

Daniel 7:21-22:

As I watched, this horn was waging war against the holy people and defeating them, until the Ancient of Days came and pronounced judgment in favor of the holy people of the Most High, and the time came when they possessed the kingdom.

Glory to the Lord!

Daniel 7:26-27:

But the court will sit, and his power will be taken away and completely destroyed forever. Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of all the kingdoms under heaven will be handed over to the holy people of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will worship and obey him.

All rulers will obey Him – the King Jesus Christ. Halleluiah!
