Tamara Chazova. Faith walk
In 2014 I felt nagging pain in the right side of my body. I had no idea what the problem was so I decided to examine abdominal cavity organs. Ultrasonography showed that my gall bladder was stuffed with stones. While examining the scan carefully the doctor kept repeating, “I can’t see clearly whether these are stones or polypus in your gall bladder.” This news greatly upset me because I perfectly understood that I would have to undergo a surgery. The thoughts about the surgery disturbed me a lot. I began to worry on how it would be done, the consequences I might face and whether I would live through that serious surgery because of my age. I also surfed the Internet in order to find a way beside traditional medicine on how to deal with that problem. And I found one solution but it would take a very long time, about 2-3 years, and was quite hard to implement. My efforts and patience were enough only for few days of applying that treatment.
Regardless of constant nagging pain I felt in the right side of my body I made up my mind that I wouldn’t go to hospital unless I experience acute pain attack.
I have been a believer for many years already (22 years) and have witnessed lots of God’s miracles in my personal life as well as in the lives of my brothers and sisters. I prayed the situation over and asked God to heal me. Having done that, I felt peace and stopped worrying and thinking about the illness.
In our New Life Church we regularly have healing services. Every time I would come up to the front for prayer. In January 2015 after one of such prayer meetings I felt that the pain was gone and I decided to have ultrasound examination one more time. Upon checking my gall bladder, the doctor announced that it was clean, neither stones nor polypus had been found. On my way home tears of joy ran down my cheeks. I could strongly sense God’s presence, His care and mercy towards me! My happiness went beyond any limits.
Till this day I am eternally grateful to my God for the manifestation of His healing power and the time I have gone through when my faith got built up. The Bible says in the book of Romans 8:28: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
